On October 23 & 24 students from Isonville Elementary, Lakeside Elementary, and Sandy Hook Elementary received free sealant treatments from UK College of Dentistry. Over 100 students got an oral examination, tooth cleaning, and application of sealant at no cost.
The procedures were performed by dental students supervised by professors. There were no requirements for the elementary students besides having the correct paperwork filled out. All procedures took place at the Performing Arts Center.
