Elijah Faulkner captured runner of the year at Area 7, placing 1st for Elliott County in the 6th and under race. These individuals made it first team Area 7 in the 6th and under: Elijah Faulkner and Caden Sloas. For the 4th and under race: Mason Given earned the honors of first team Area 7 by placing 4th, and for the 2nd Area 7 team: Peyton Holbrook placed 11th. For the middle school girls: Hannah McDaniels placed 5th earning her a spot on the Area 7 1st middle school team. For the high school boys Area 7 race: Lucas Ison, placed 3rd earning him a spot in First Team Area 7.
