www.parents.nea.org – NEA Parents’ Resources include short 3-4 minute reads for parents on various educational issues from crafting conversations with your child’s educator to supporting learning at various levels. 

https://www.scholastic.com  - ‘Scholastic Parents’ includes a book search tool to locate reading materials, book review/recommendations, guides, activities, printables, and more.

resource focusing on 8 research based strategies:  using prio knowledge, making connections, questioning, visualizing, inferring, summarizing, evaluating, and synthesizing.

https://www.readingrockets.org - Reading Rockets has resources to help struggling readers build phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.

www.readwritethink.org  - Read Write Think has resources that address different literacy areas including, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. 

www.k-5learning.com  - K-5 Learning contains cross-curricular stories with comprehension questions and answer keys available.

www.readworks.org  - Includes both nonfiction and literary articles as well as reading comprehension and vocabulary lessons.

login.i-ready.com – reading and math digital lessons that correspond with their skill level and content that is being covered within the classroom. 

www.dltk-kids.com  - features a variety of printable children’s crafts, worksheets and activities supporting projects for holidays and educational themes.

www.pbskids.org  - features educational games and videos from PBS shows, which are designed for improving the early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills for children ages 2 to 11. 

www.turtlediary.com - offers an interactive learning platform for kids PreK through 5th grades to become confident in applying learned concepts.  Content areas included: reading, math, science, and socials.

www.starfall.com  - features educational games, movies, books, and songs for children grades K-3 

www.storylineonline.net  - features celebrated actors reading children’s books to inspire a love of reading

www.funschool.com - Fun and educational games aimed at ages PreK through middle school.  Kids learn new skills and discover new abilities with interactive computer games.
