Elliott County's Cross Country Team competed in their 8th meet for the season on October 1st at Bath County. As usual, their performance did not disappoint! "Great effort by all my runners! It takes us all to place as a team" remarked Coach Nancy Sloas.

ELLIOTT GOLF TEAM ADVANCES TO STATE

Elliott County Boy's Golf Team finished 2nd in the regional tournament at Hidden Cove on Sept. 28th, 2015. They will advance to the state tournament held at Bowling Green Country Club on Oct 6th and 7th. From left to right in the photo:

Reece Griffith shot an 84.

After School Tutoring Schedule for Grades 7-12

The fall after-school tutoring schedule for students in grades 7-12 has been set, with two teachers available to assist with homework and to offer tutoring on an individual, as-needed basis on most Tuesdays and Thursdays during the fall semester. Extra math assistance will be available on Tuesdays, as a math teacher is scheduled to be available on every Tuesday that is scheduled for tutoring. Please note that there is no tutoring on dates that precede a scheduled school holiday. Tutoring will last from 3:00 until 4:30 on the following dates: September 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29; October 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, and 29; November 5, 12, 17, and 19; and December 1, 3, 8, 10, and 15. Dates for spring semester tutoring will be posted at a later date.
Sandy Hook Elementary Awarded Grant from Kentucky Arts Council

Sandy Hook Elementary is excited to announce we have been awarded a grant from the Kentucky Arts Council. As part of this grant, our fourth and fifth grade students will have the opporunity to learn West Africian dance elements with Yolantha Harrison-Pase.
