Dear Elliott County Schools Community,
Our school district has been informed of a confirmed COVID-19 case at Elliott County Intermediate School. Parents of students who may possibly have been exposed have been contacted. In accordance with the recommendations of Gateway Health Department, those students will be quarantined and may return to school on Friday, May 21. Gateway Health Department also confirms that those students who have a negative COVID-19 PCR test after five days of quarantine may return to school on May 18.
COVID-19 preventative procedures will continue to be enforced as we work to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to navigate this pandemic.
