Digital Literacy

Students in Mrs. Whitt’s Digital Literacy classes took learning off the screen with a hands-on Marble Maze Challenge!

Students designed and built a marble maze to represent how information moves through a computer. As the marble traveled through the maze, students connected each part of its journey to the four main steps of a computer system: input, processing, storage, and output.

Students had to plan their maze, build and test their design, solve problems, and make changes when something didn’t work. The activity helped students better understand how a computer receives information, processes it, stores it, and produces an output.

This hands-on challenge combined technology, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while bringing Digital Literacy concepts to life!
