🌟 The 7th and 8th grade JAG students at ECMS showcased their leadership potential by delivering powerful campaign speeches for student officer positions. Each student spoke with confidence and passion, sharing their ideas on how they could make a positive difference in our school. Their dedication, school spirit, and eagerness to step up as role models for their peers was truly inspiring. A special thank you goes to Mr. Gillum for allowing me to join and be part of such an encouraging and memorable experience. We are so proud of these outstanding students who are growing into the leaders of the future! 👏✨

🔦✨ Our 6th graders dove into OpenSciEd Unit 6.1 with some hands-on science! Using the Box Model Investigation, they explored how light behaves in different conditions — testing one-sided and two-sided flashlight setups to observe shadows, reflection, and more. 🔍💡 Love seeing their curiosity shine just as bright as the lights they used! #ECMS #FutureScientists Ms. Hopkins class

Ensuring the safety of our students is the top priority for our school district. Each year, we invite a team of first responders to conduct a thorough tour of both the interior and exterior of every school building. This practice allows them to provide valuable suggestions for enhancing school safety and familiarizes them with the layout of our schools. This year, we would like to extend our gratitude to the following individuals for their participation: Deputy Casey Brammell (Sheriff’s Office), Trooper Zach Haney (Kentucky State Police), Allen and Nancy Kuehner (504 Fire Department), Dale Howard (Sandy Hook Fire Department), Michael Wagner (School District Safety Coordinator), Jim Skaggs (Emergency Management), Caleb Skaggs (Dispatch), and Darren Newell (EMS and Isonville Fire Department).
