💙 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month 💙 Today some of our amazing high school students wore blue and joined Myron Lewis at the courthouse to place pinwheels in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The blue pinwheel is a symbol of the happy, safe childhood every child deserves. We are so proud of these students for helping spread awareness and standing up for the children in our community. 💙 📍 Don’t forget! Join us this Saturday from 12–2 at Lakeside for our Child Abuse Awareness Event. Come out, show your support, and help us make a difference! 💙 Together we can help protect every child. #ChildAbusePreventionMonth #WearBlue #ProtectOurKids #CommunityStrong 💙

ECP would like to say thank you to ECHS Beta Club and Mrs. Bridgette Elliott, EC Board Member, for coming and reading to our students. Each brought their favorite Dr. Seuss book and read to each class. Our Cat in the Hat day was a fun time!

Dear Elliott County Primary School Families, We're excited to partner with Books Are Fun and the Book Blast program to grow our students' home libraries and encourage more reading over screen time! Tonight, we're asking you to take 7 minutes to support your Student Home Library initiative. Today, our students learned about the Book Blast Program and the importance of having their own books at home. Tonight, we are asking you to take 7 minutes to support our Student Home Library initiative. Get started here: https://app.booksarefun.com/ElliottCountySchs41171 How it works: Click the link and register your student(s). Invite at least 10 friends or family to support your student(s). (Info is secure and only used for this program.) Need help? Watch this short video: Family Explainer Video Win a trip to Disney! Each supporter who clicks your student's link earns an entry for a chance to win a Disney trip. More clicks = more entries! For example, if five different people click the link, your family gets five entries into the drawing! Pro Tip: After sending invitations, follow up with a phone call to make sure they received the message. Why I love this program: Every student gets new, age-appropriate books. 100% of contributions go to books and classroom supplies. Takes less than 10 minutes and NO financial requirement from you. Check out the attached book list—it's amazing! More books at home = more reading! We're aiming for 100% participation See Book Blast in action at Fulton Elementary: Fulton Elementary News Clip Thank you for helping our school and community.
