The Elliott County Board of Education met on Thursday March 18th and the decision was made to continue with Virtual and In Person Instruction for the remainder of the year. In person instruction will continue to occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays with Wednesdays being left for Virtual instruction only. In order to better meet the needs of all students and more accurately keep track of attendance of in-person students all parents need to make a decision and let their child's school know on Monday if their child will be participating in person or virtually. At that point in person attendance will be tracked as any school year. The decision that is made will be the decision that will be followed for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you and we appreciate your assistance in making this virtual instruction or in-person instruction decision.
