ECHS Cory Lewis has successfully passed his 2F KY DOT welding Certification.

This fine group of students have successfully completed the OSHA 10 general industry class. They will be issued a placeholder certificate until they receive their official wallet cards. This is the first ever OSHA class at Elliott County High School. This is a lifetime credential accepted by employers nationwide.

Elliott County High School is proud to announce Patrick Smith as the new Head Baseball Coach. Patrick is a 2001 Graduate of Morgan County High School. He is married with 3 kids McKenna Smith, Brayden Smith and Kannon Smith. Patrick has worked in Law Enforcement for 10 years and is currently employed as a SRO by the Elliott County Board of Education.

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Elliott County Primary/Intermediate Schools Dear Parents, Your child’s school has been awarded a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) USDA grant SY 23-24.The grant is administered by USDA and the Division of School and Community Nutrition, KDE and coordinated by Elliott County Board of Education Child Nutrition Services. A fresh fruit or vegetable snack will be provided for all students K-5 3 days each week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) Elliott County Primary $13,420.00 Elliott County Intermediate $12,139.00 The Goal of the FFVP is to: • Create healthier school environments by providing healthier food choices • Expand the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience • Increase children’s fruit and vegetable consumption • Make a difference in children’s diets to impact their present and future health Children will be encouraged to try the fruit or vegetable snack each day, but they may opt to not participate if they do not like or cannot eat the fruit or vegetable offered that day. Please encourage your child to participate in the snack program to further emphasize the importance of good nutrition. Public Auction Notice Elliott County Schools will be conducting an absolute action on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to dispose of a doublewide modular classroom located near the greenhouse behind Elliott County High School. Dimensions of the unit are approximately 28’ X 70’. Interested parties may inspect the unit on Saturday, May 6 from 9:00 a.m. until time of sale. The successful bidder is required to remove the unit from the site before Saturday, June 3, 2023. Failure to remove the unit by the deadline will result in the property being forfeited to the next highest bidder. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS PROPERTY!
